What stays on your device
Pixel Pig is a desktop app. Your projects, local media library, prompts, settings, workflow history, and supported provider API keys are stored on your device. We do not receive your prompts or media merely because you install or open the app.
Data sent when you use a service
When you run a workflow or publish content, Pixel Pig sends the information needed to complete that request to the provider or platform you selected. Depending on the feature, that can include prompts, media files, model settings, captions, and publishing choices.
Those services process data under their own terms and privacy policies. They may include AI providers you configure, storage providers, and social platforms such as TikTok.
Connected social accounts
If you connect a social account, we process the account details, authorization credentials, and posting status needed to provide that connection. OAuth credentials used for a Pixel Pig-managed connection are handled by our authentication service rather than embedded in the desktop app.
Pixel Pig only initiates an upload or post after you choose the content and confirm the action. You can revoke the connection in the social platform's settings.
Anonymous usage telemetry
Release builds send limited product-usage telemetry to Microsoft Azure Application Insights. This includes a random installation identifier, app version, operating system, workflow or model identifiers, provider names, feature events, durations, and success counts. It does not include prompts, media files, API-key values, or social posts.
Pixel Pig also keeps local usage and workflow records on your device to show history and help diagnose failed runs.
Website and service infrastructure
The Pixel Pig website and authentication endpoints may be delivered through Cloudflare, which can process ordinary network information such as IP address, request time, browser details, and security signals. When you contact us by email, your email provider and ours process the message and addressing information under their own privacy policies.
Outside the European Union and European Economic Area, the website uses the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to report page visits and download-button selections to Meta. The download event can include the selected operating system, campaign labels, browser details, Meta browser identifiers, IP address, and the page or download URL. We use this information to measure and improve Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta processes it under its own privacy terms.
Meta advertising measurement is disabled for visitors Cloudflare identifies as being in the European Union or European Economic Area.
Retention and security
Local app data remains until you remove it or uninstall the app. Connected-account credentials are retained only as needed to keep the connection working and can be invalidated by revoking Pixel Pig's access with the platform. Infrastructure providers may retain security and operational logs under their own policies.
We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices
You can avoid sending content to a provider by not using that provider, remove local data through the app or your operating system, and revoke connected accounts through the relevant platform. Children and changes
Pixel Pig is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the app changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
